So much red in the sky means it's gonna be a rainy day, huh? But also: here in Germany we say the Christ Child (not Santa) is baking cookies for Christmas :-)

I noticed the school-like building though, brings back memories.
I really miss decent sunsets and sunrises, I see so few these days, they are all a little nondescript, any colour they have is yellow-brown.
If you mean the big old building in the background, that *is* actually a school.
They are probably geese, yes. Funny, I never saw any in DK, but they are common here.
