Talking about excellent products:
Pure Trim
It's a protein shake with a difference. Really good nutrition. Tastes reasonably good. It stabilizes the blood sugar to handle sweets cravings. It keeps you full for hours on a couple hundred calories. And it contains some herbs in just the right mix to work as a natural mood lifter, like St John's Wort, only better and much faster.
Only problem is it only sold in the US and Canada, they can't even ship overseas due to regulations. So I have to have a friend buy it and ship it to me. Sadly this is not likely to change fast, since it is a huge deal to get permission to sell nutritional products in any modern country.

Do they publish the ingredients? If yes, then just mix your own (or place an order with some local shop to do it for you.) Will be a fraction of the cost, too. I they don't publish the ingredients, I'd advise forgetting the product.
I'm interested in this too, but I'm sure using local produce and one's own knowledge of nutrition one could do much better. A good example of such inventiveness and action is Dr. NakaMats' Yummy Nutri Brain Food.
By the way, if mixing your own shake doesn't quite 'feel the same' or doesn't quite 'have the same effect', it means your patronising of Pure Trim has been based on beliefs associated with the brand rather than beliefs associated with the produce.
I guess if it is a legally-sold aliment in the US, its safety has been tested by the FDA. Normally.

I am sure it is. But then I probably wouldn't eat 90% of what the FDA approves of.
Did you know that in the US several cow breeders have admitted to feeding their cows with cement dust?

Somebody's been watching Super-Size Me. ;-)
I know the feeling. I hate eating my veggies too. (Sniff!)

TMI, TTL. Too Much Information...
One question :
If you imported it in your stomach by drinking it, is it still illegal, given the current airport security measures regarding all liquids? I think this question is imported... I mean important!
Also, what's to keep a would-be terrorist from smuggling nitro in his stomach? Provided he doesn't know about the medical risk of nitroglycerin? (It could litterally stop your heart. BEFORE you got to board the plane...) And how about full cavity searches for all, considering the disgusting but ever-classic trick I'm sure you've guessed?
Nitro : now, THAT's a drink you should definitely NOT shake before use!
