Well, you know, something by Matisse has got more going on than, say, a Thomas Kinkade painting... I'm just not sure it has the complexity of technology, compare that Blue Nude to, say, the super collider in Switzerland. That's not a question of its value, of course, and art is certainly more accessible.

You think art is more complex than technology? Most art is pretty simplistic, really, even the stuff by the great ones.
It’s a difficult question, hard to prove.
But I *feel* that, for example, a Blue Nude by Matisse, though it looks really simple, has harmonies which are very complex.
It’s what makes great art different from most art.
