Sydney, Australia is a bit cloudy and maximum 16 today. Saturday is 19 and Sunday 18, both sunny, so it is looking very good for winter. By the way, that is typical weather except when we get a cold front.
Yes, Celsius and it is quite pleasant. When I go walking on Sunday it will mostly be in a t-shirt. Our ocean temperature is about 20 which keeps the coastal areas warm. Go inland and the maximums are closer to 10 degrees.
I'll be in Cairns in a couple of weeks with maximum temperatures about 25.

If that's Celcius, that's very balmy indeed for "winter", it's roughly what we have now in Nothern UK.
