Do you know a good web host?
I have maybe half a dozen low-traffic domains looking for a host. Reliability is good, but good service is essential. Good friendly service, speedy answers and handlings, 24/7.
Currently I'm still with my old host, which I love, but they are geared to very high-traffic sites, and the prices are thereafter (and they don't do shared hosting). That made sense when I had sites which had over 100,000 visitors per day, but now when I no longer have such busy professional sites, I'm hoping to find a host for a handful of domains for under, say, $20 a month.

I use GoDadddy.com. Very happy with their support.

Try https://hostpresto.com/ been with them since they were dreamhosting and still have 3 sites with them. Always get fast response to queries and support requests.

Presto seems extremely reasonable. Do you know if they do e-commerce sites, I mean shops?
You will need to set it up yourself (although they can assist) but yes you can do a shop. We have one built into our wordpress site using a plugin.

I imagine you take both Paypal and credit cards? Do you have to process the cards yourself?

Sorry forgot to check back on this. We take Paypal or old fashioned cheques or even cash!
Using Paypal the buyer can decide how to pay either via their paypal account or credit/debit card. Paypal does all the processing, we just get the money (less a small fee) into our paypal account.
Its exactly the same as Ebay or any other retailers site.
