Beautiful... Makes me wonder how long the models had to hold their breath... :-P Thanks for sharing...

Great work. They used models who were also free divers, so they could have held their breath for several minutes, although they would have allowed a fair safety margin.

Yes, I read that, Ken... I'm thinking that it would be "several, SEVERAL minutes," with ALL the adjusting to ebb and flow of the water/hair/gowns... :-P It would be a fascinating genre to shoot...but just doesn't seem terribly fair that the Photographer and Assistants wear air and the models, um...don't... :-(

They probably do what I have seen in documentaries from Hollywood (Man of Steel for example), they put everything and everybody in place with hoses with an air supply to everybody, and then pull up the hoses just before shooting.
Still very taxing, I'm sure, but stretches the possible much wider.

Uh, yeah...that would make sense... :-D Yes...pretty taxing, I'd bet; a photo shoot out of water is prob that, most of the time, without having to worry about how long you can hold your breath!! :-P
