Me and E-M1

Me with the new Olympus E-M1. A really pleasant and effective camera.
Sorry the camera aint sharp, but it's from a portrait lens, shallow depth of field, and of course it was indoors light, so that's the name of the game. But if you want, you can just google Olympus E-M1, and you will find enough material to choke a digital hippo. It's a very sought-after camera, and I was lucky I got mine so soon, I think many will have to wait a month or two.

I've got the E-M1 and the 45/1.8 on loan right now...wow, what a fantastic combo that is! Is that what you've got on there?

Lots to love about M43 and its tiny, superb prime lenses...

Exactly. 45mm 1.8.
It's amazing they could put such a superior lens into such a small, light, and even reasonably-priced package. Big kudos.

I've considered it for street photography (perhaps with a E-PL5). It doesn't look like much, but it has a bit of reach, and you can isolate people with low DoF without being very close to them.

I've been caressing mine for a couple weeks now. It's my most enjoyable camera yet.

Thanks.
Yeah, it has an odd "just-rightness" about it.
