The time-slicing nature of Photography makes it the perfect vehicle for capturing serendipitous events. The best one I've personally experienced is the shot my Mom took of me doing a backflip into a pool. I'm sure she could have tried another thousand times and would never be able to position my head between my uncle and cousin as expertly and accurately as she did in this shot:http://www.flickr.com/photos/karmagroovy/375146084/
