"Romantic Blush"

Fakeness/bad taste alert. "Is it possible to show that your eyes are in love?" Urrrgh.

Somebody said something like: "sincerity is the most important thing, if you can fake that, you got it made."

I like her videos, though I am not using make-up. She made me discover nice music, and she has a very friendly, funny style. Ok, I am not addicted to her vids, but I've watched a few of them. I think they make you smile.

It's cool that you like her videos. I just had an allergic reaction to that first sentence, mostly.
I'm curious, why would you watch her movies if you don't wear make-up? So far as I can see they are all about make-up.

Well, as you seem to ask the question with a serious curiosity, I will try to answer.

The facts: I have not watched a LOT of her vids, but I had a day or two when I watched 4-5 of them in a row. This does not sound much, but as I usually don't watch vids on the net if it not for a purpose, and I had never watched any vid about make-up more than a minute, finding them very boring, I think this means that I really liked her vids.

My interpretation : she'a a nice person. She wants to share her knowledge, in a fun, personal, pedagogic way. She has some resemblance with some of my friends. I guess it was a time when I was doing a lot of writing, spending a lot of time alone, so her cheerful ways cheered me up.

Also, I am still a woman who could use make-up. So I guess, when she is teaching make-up, it is a knowledge that my brain does not find totally useless. And sometimes, two or three times a year, I am indeed using some elementary form of make-up. So, as she is transforming in from of the camera, I can feel a little transformed too.

And I like her creativity. She is an art student, and she finds things around her that she transforms into make-up. One day she was happy about a pot she saw (on a painting, or in a shop window, I don't remember). And she created a make-up based on those shades of blue and green she had seen. And the story made me curious about what the outcome will be.

She is having fun, sharing knowledge, she is happy, and she is creating. It is a little as she was creating a small painting in every vid, it is just that her canvas is her own face.

She has some childish, not self-centered, warm ways that some of my dear Indonesian friends have, and that I appreciate.

She is doing something creative, and sharing it with a large public. I am I think doing something creative that I try to share with a large public. So that inspires me too.

So, I think she is cheerful, and inspiring in many ways to me. These are the reasons I could find now. :)

All very good reasons.

Yeah, I like that.
Once (about 20 years ago) I saw a shirt in some colors that would never have thought of using or combining in a painting, but the thought made me want to do one. (I I think it was an autumn yellow, an ochre, a black, and a faded green.) (Didn't make the painting yet.)

Well, then this is a good occasion to do it! :)
