The new crane/helicopter
Thanks to Tommy for finding this awesome video. This camera copter with built-in stabilizer will replace a lot of crane and helicopter shots in cinema. Not to mention it can go a lot of places where you can't put helicopters or cranes.

I can see the popularity of this really "taking off" with the paparazzi. Many of the places that celebrities thought were private would not be so private with this heli-cam.

OMG! I'm in LOVE! :-P That thing would be such a BLAST! That would be AWESOME to try to get some bird (the ones w/the feathers, guys!) footage!

I wonder how tricky it is to fly. Would also be WAY COOL to get waterfall shots with! :-D LOVE ALL the propellers! Looks pretty sturdy!

I think these things are very sturdy, typically. And very stable, auto-stabilized by modern small processors. A few years ago they'd have been quite hard to control, I'm sure.
