Timing

Timing in photography.

Isn't a shark an amazing creature? It's just pure mouth. Sleek, streamlined death, cold and uncaring.

I used to call shots like this "pure luck" when I was a photographer. . .

Luck like that is incredible. I hope the photographer bought lottery tickets that day!

Wow, there are some truly amazing photos on that site! Some are humorous, artistic, shocking and incredible all at the same time.

You do need a lot of luck for those things. But it helps the luck along if you work long hours and have a camera which can shoot eight pictures per second.
