Today is finally cool and rainy here in North West England. I love it! Big sigh of relief.
I actually got airconditioning installed a couple of months ago here in the Stobblehouse mansion and business headquarters (aka my apartment). Talk about good timing.

No airco here. But I can finally breath again... and stop feeling like I'm stuck in a slimy wet bag of sweat. I'm enjoying the typical Dutch rainy weather like I rarely have before! :)
Only lizards want sun all the time. Real men like variety.
Living in the desert southwest of the United States, we celebrate rainy days! There have been far too few of them the past several decades, and too many summer forest fires. At least we can count on blue skys in our photographs most of the time.
For once, the summer is markedly hotter in Europe (all of it) than here in Lebanon. The military heat notwithstanding...
I only hope it's the same in the USA. It's high time those responsible for the global warming (i.e. the indistrialized nations) start feeling its consequences. Then, just maybe, they'll wise up before it's too late for everybody.
We're all on the same boat, after all. Even the rich won't have lifeboats if Ol'Blue goes Titanic. (Although the Titanic sank because of a freezing iceberg. Not one of my best metaphors...)
