Haha! Why stop there? Why not a name for each country it's sold in? Fifty-nine different names for the same camera would be metal.
I'm sure it's a totally rockin' camera though.

I wonder how the sensor will rate at the DXO site.Hope for Canon it does better than the last model. My lowly Pentax kicked the Canon's ass right out the door.Even beat out a camera costing $6000 bucks. cjg of eroticalee
I suppose there are places where they're fairly touchy about the word "Rebel."

Let's hope it has better Image Stabilization than my Canon G9.
Half the pictures are so blurry they are totally useless. And I've already tried the various settings for using the IS - 'automatic', 'shoot only', and 'off'. It doesn't seem to make a damned bit of difference. I'm almost ready for the Hammer Cure. The little Ixus-30 that I used before I got this G9 takes more dependable images, and it didn't cost half as much as this G9. Colour me 'disgusted'.
