Would you like a workspace which looks like the Alien creature mated with a dentist's chair? Then this is for you.
... OK, seriously, it might be fabulous. Although I do wonder if one does not feel a bit... if not "captured", then at least "encapsulated"?
Also, it seems very form fitting. But people are many sizes and shapes. Will I feel comfortable in it, with my 6.4 frame? (193cm). Will somebody who is, um, well-fed?

Looks nice (but expensive).
Main components seem to be a car seat, a big display and a footrest. The rest is just decoration. If we build something ourselves it won't be as beautiful, but at least it will be large enough (I'm over 2m tall).
When I dream of my ideal lair, I see a retro dentist's chair on a high platform in the middle of my living room, with joysticks and keypads on the armrests and video projected on the walls. Add a white lab coat and mad cackling... ;-)
Of course, no women is going to accept that in her house, so it would only be feasible if I'm living alone.

Women? The only women in a mad scientist's lair should be those you experiment on, and the occasional kidnapped raven-haired daughter of a rival. (Watch out, this tend to bring about big bronze-colored heros with crewcuts.)
