Batman logo changes
It surprises me (as a childhood Batman fan) how many different logos there have been, and how very different they are, but each still works as saying "Batman".
Because as much as they may change / evolve, they're always about a simplified one-block silhouette of a bat. The description of the many logos with words would practically identical. Would you have much trouble recognizing the many vestions of Superman's "S" logo?
I just realized, they missed a very important one: Batman Year One (Miller/Macucelli), I think it was the only one which has been asymmetrical, it was very nice.
I was just thinking somebody should do a comprehensive study. Then I thought: mmm, maybe not exactly essential use of time, at least not mine. But then it turns out somebody did it!
