This was the Panasonic GH2, it react instantly with focusing and firing when you touch the screen where you want the focus. It's really surprisingly fast. And the 10x (!) kit zoom is really durn good. Haven't done close testing yet, but I was hardly unhappy with any of the pics I took today, even though I was shooting fast and furious.
So funny E! It is not one hour ago I was thinking: When the weather gets better, I will take some photos of old places you have know, and post it to you with my new camera I just bought from NASA. Sally from DK

Anna, yes, the new focusing technique is really great. It takes a little practice to hold the camera still while you do it, but it that's not that hard to learn. I only had a couple of slightly shaken pics yesterday, even at the longest zoom setting, 140mm (280mm equivalent).
I kept getting amazed at how near instant the focus-and-shoot was doing it this way.
I think the balloon clown is a bit creepy, but in a good way. Photographs are much more effective if they evoke some sort of strong emotion in the viewer, even if it's a negative one.

Re: the clown: a traveling amusement park seems to keep their stuff stored in streets and spaces in the industrial quarter not far from where I live.
