Natalie Portman to wed
Natalie Portman to wed..., article.
... and pregnant too.
She is not only beautiful, she's an outstanding actress (which the Star Wars movies sadly did not show). I've been a fan of her since her first movie Leon (The Professional). (Brilliant movie too, albeit violent.)
First time I saw her was in Heat, and I couldn't really tell if she was acting as a surly teen, or was a surly teen.
Remember Star Wars is not about acting. For two films Ewan Mcgregor walks around saying "Yes Master" and "I don't know master", and Samuel L Jackson just looks tall in it.
Natalie's in "Heat"!? Another reason I need to get around to watching that.
Not sure about the prospects of Black Swan getting a third expansion, and being a huge fan of Darren Aronofsky, I drove 250 miles this week to see it. Not my favorite of his films, nor something I'd want to watch a bunch of times, but it's certainly admirable. Natalie was incredible.
Absolutely right about the new Star Wars; I've only seen III, but that left me with such a bad taste in my mouth about ALL the actors that I was mistakenly under the impression that Ewan and Natalie were very mediocre.
I thought Heat was well-produced, but a bit cliche. I remember seeing it with a friend, and a person says a line, and I say out loud: "he's dead!" and five minutes later, yep, he has bought it.
