Early romance
"Urh, I think think you're cute and funny and all, but I think we have to consider the differeces in... our backgrounds... Please stop that while I'm trying to talk to you..."

Dr P's Trivia Minute: Dogs have a sense of smell superior to cats (though not by a lot); however, the keen hearing of cats is best. Fact.
So, if the dog's fretting all over but the cat's still spread all over the rug like a pancake on a hot stove, trust the most expert of the two and rest assured it HAS NOT heard you mother-in-law's ghost rasping at the door.
