Talking about low light, NeutralDay has tested the
new Nikon D3s. Very friggin' impressive. It beats the D3, which was already king of the hill. The images at 16,000 ISO has
much less "grain" than the photos I took with the first 400 ASA (~ISO) color film back in the day (late seventies).

Hey, That's me! But yeah, the D3s sort of changes what one regards as a "high ISO" photo. ISO 1600 isn't a high ISO shot on the D3s.
Yep, things change. When I got my first camera, 400 was very high.
