Defining evil
Evil:
Any person or influence which inhibits life or communication more than it helps it.

It is a good start, yet it leaves the poor working schmuck who causes "backhoe attenuation" branded as evil. But if you are into the Doctrine of Original Sin, I suppose it would work ;^)

Very thought provoking. I would add
"deliberately inhibits"
and
"life, liberty, or communication"
liberty or freedom or free will.
On facebook, others brought up the aspect of intention, and I agree that it can be argued it should be part of it.
Any leader who thinks he is god and should be praised and adored. Jesus said that we are to serve and that our reward will be in heaven.
