A little memory of space

When I was eleven and my sister was eight, we were once out walking, and she asked me:
"What would happen if if gravity would suddenly fail?"
I said: "Everything and everybody would be slung into space."
After a second's thought, she said:
"We'd better bring an extra-large lunch."
