Surely a tripod (or a dolly - the mind boggles . . .) would be more stable than a biped?
I guess, but the biped can carry itself, and entertain you with complaining.
You know, there's a saying about guies with fast cars and trucks. They have a pencil sized penis (aka. dicks) and are trying to make up for it.I wonder if that might be true here?:-)
