Tonight's super perigee moon a rare treat
Tonight's super perigee moon a rare treat, article. Check out the full moon this evening--it could be 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter than usual.
Meh. No big deal really. All full moons are pretty, but are disappointing photographically.
...and those figures? 14%, 30% ?
The average punter can't discern differences that small.
So, why am I so dismissive and negative about this? Easy. It's passed -gone- here in Sydney, (last night) where we had 8/8 cloud cover and constant rain.
