In late nineties I heard some wonderful music in a restaurant. I researched what it was, and couldn't believe that it was actually Madonna!
I still think Ray of Light the album is outstanding.
The same happened today, I heard some music on a web site, and I liked it. I used a handy app called SoundHound on my iPhone, it listened to it and told me it was Lady Gaga! Oh no!
But oh yes. So now I've bought her collection/album The Fame Monster over UK iTunes. (Two dozen songs for only five pounds (eight bucks) by the way, good deal.)

*sigh* I'm still not getting it. I probably heard her Bad Romance song a hundred times before I figured out that was the song everyone was talking about. And I've done pretty much the same thing with all the rest of her songs, too. To me, it just sounds like more of the same.
It's possible, even likely, that me not listening to radio or much TV is an influence, I'm not over-exposed to her like many.
Yeah, that makes sense. I mean, if I hear one of her songs on a pop radio station(which I'll only hear if I'm at the gym), there's nothing really about them that stands out from the other songs they're playing. That's how I feel about it anyway.
... It also seems to be influenced quite a lot by what mood I'm in. So I give up. :-)
Lol, to be fair, I do have a very, very low tolerance for pop music.
I've had people tell me that Lady Gaga is a talented musician who has figured out how to make money off of being a weird, popular musician.
I wonder if the same was true about Madonna...
