PETA proposes that Ben & Jerry's use breast milk in its ice cream, article.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is asking the ice cream maker to begin using breast milk in its products instead of cow's milk, saying it would reduce the suffering of cows and calves and give ice cream lovers a healthier product.

And it's not even April first.

But it is thought provoking. Given the yield in gallons per day from cattle, versus the daily yield of a nursing mother in pints, you would have to maintain a larger herd. However, the herd would probably not live at the farm, and not require feeding. It's an interesting logistics problem. Would you have local or regional collection centers? You couldn't trust home collection, I don't just mean sterilization, I mean too many weak points for radical groups to contaminate the milk.

@ Alex....

"Down, Boy! We'll feed you in the morning!" - And stop chasing those cows! It curdles the milk.

Just ask Ragtime Cowboy Monsieur Beep and he will tell you, as soon as we can locate him in the wilds of Gran Canaria, where the bikinis are in bloom.
