Pachelbel, Canon in D Major
I wanted the version by Musica Antiqua New York & Mary Jane Newman, but could'na find it on the woohooboobs. This one is nice too, though it's a much more relaxed version.

For some reason, every time I read this, it awakens a vague retching reflex in me. Probably because it's all done so BigBrotherly, faceless, occult, "from above", no explanations... feels as arbitrary as any dictatorship, with no recourse for the citizen nor any way to get any f***ing EXPLANATIONS.
I recently gave up on a forum about the House, MD series (I think it was the OFFICIAL one!), where my contributions seemed unwelcome, and there was no gendarme way to find who to discuss this with. Only diktats popping up out of the blue. Furthermore, I suspect someone had hacked my profile and was messing with my posts, but no way to find where to report this! Very poorly organized.
