youtube boots me out
Dangit, youtube has disabled my account. Like I complained about recently, this is too steep a step of justice, as is common on Earth. I've been given no warning, heard of no complaints, given no chance to remove any offending video...
That was not clear. There was almost no information given, only that one could appeal by mailing them, which I did. There was no way of entering any details or asking any questions, only to send a notice that one thinks it was unfair. So I guess there's a chance it can be opened.
I'm hoping this draconian treatment is only because there's a large number of people who post a ton of copyrighted material, and they have no time to deal with them, but somebody like me they maybe treat fairly.
Sure, I'd posted stuff, but only what I believe comes under fair use. A small piece may be shown in connection with a review and such.
Maybe they spent some time reading the self-serving typical limey braggart commentary on your blog. And myself they saw what an egocentric full-of-yourself showoff you are.
Did you not make this same stupid mistake way back, when even then it was pointed out to you that Eolake is Danish?
That said, your perception of the persona of Mr Eolake is easy to understand as that IS how he often comes over, I've just no understanding why you seem to be so vitriolic about it? Perhaps that is because you are stuck on the wrong side of the Atlantic - an assumption made based on the fact that 'Limey' IS a pejorative Yank (or Canadian~?) term for an Englishman.
No wonder the US as a nation have slipped so far in the eyes of the world, if it is populated by people like you?
Sure, I'd posted stuff, but only what I believe comes under fair use.
As I recall, you did have full sketches from some comedy shows. This is not considered Fair Use under copyright law even when accompanied with a review. Snippets of a sketch would be OK, though.
A small piece may be shown in connection with a review and such.
Correct. But the little accompanying comment YouTube allows one to post is not considered a review. It is accompanying notes, i.e. meta information. I think the only way to publish reviews on YouTube in the this sense would be to include it in the video program itself.
If the Fair Use doctrine allowed reproducing full sketches, then one could produce comedy shows for free simply by compiling sketches from different shows. This is an easy way to tell it can't be OK under Copyright law.
I'm admittedly a self-promoter, but I'm in good company there.
I seem self-centered to many. I don't think I *really* am, only that other people don't interest me as much as abstract matters. And since the second half of that don't tend to be understood by most, it seems I must be self-centered, if I am not interested in others.
FYI ... Strangely enough, the expression 'Limey' DOES have a connection to the fruit! It was originally used by US inhabitants to refer to 'visiting' members of the British Navy, who were perceived to be constantly sucking on limes (in an attempt to prevent scurvy on extended voyages, like those across the Atlantic to America)
'I instigate purposely to generate reaction. '
I wonder, wherever you are, if you are familiar with the term 'shit-stirrer'? :-)

Is this permanent or only temporary?

Wow, Kabel, the rumors are true. You really are a shitfaced cockmaster.
Btw, Kabel you genius, Eolake is Danish so he can't be a limey.
Say hi to your sister (the #2 prostitute in Uzbekistan).
Keep us in the loop, if you get more info. You might have to start a new YouTube service. :O)

Ah, that might well be.

Well, you must agree that Mister Eolake is indeed very self centered and 'show-off-ish'.
I understand that this is out of necessity. Self-made value of self esteem.
Actually, I'm a great fan of Eolake and his sites - I instigate purposely to generate reaction.
Besides, I never understood the 'limey' tag anyway - has nothing to do with limes, then, does it, gov'nor...
