Fruit flies beat their wings about once every 4 milliseconds ... ... this means 250 times per second!Anyway, it's astounding.
Dang, I must be getting soft in the head... I read it twice, and I was *sure* it said "four times every millisecond". (Maybe they changed the post since.)
