Naked November
Pascal told me: CJ Burgandy is a webcomic artist, a female, she's going to publish a naked babe drawing every day this month, and I find her dancing avatar just irresistibly cute.
I'm not sure I get the point of them, though. Can you rub one out to a drawing of a sexy ho? The pinup only made sense when they started using photographs of real women.
I must contest JW's point. Once you step away from "in the flesh experiences" you are already filling in a lot of the blanks, and entering the world of fantasy. Photo or drawing, it's not touch, taste, smell or sound.
Sure sight is one of the first of the senses we use to head down that path, but ever been fooled by an athletic figure and lush hair to see a sun leathered face accompany it? Aged beach bunnies are prevalent around here.
Anyway, even carefully constructed lines can start suggestion of shape, and imagination will kick in.
I actually like this series of toons, it is honest and fun, adding the "wrinkly", zombie etc.
Final point, there's a lot of hentai out there that is more erotic than a playboy or penthouse spread.
Some of that hentai stuff is pretty messed up though.
I would have to agree, there are quite a few manga and anime babes I admire, but there is only a thin slice of tasteful nudity between the teasing short dresses of anime and the hardcore alien multiple entry hentai (I know there is a word for that, but I can't remember it now).

[What's with me tonight? I keep messing up this comment! Here goes nothing...]
Ya gotta love a woman who draws sexy naked zombie pin-ups...
She even gave a thought to the DOWAI fans our there!
I wonder if she likes cute strong men?

That's like saying that fine wine doesn't make sense because you get drunk much faster on vodka.
That is not the same thing at all. Both are real alcoholic beverages. With this, there's a drawing of a woman versus a photograph of a real woman.

I'm not saying they suck. They're well drawn. I'm just saying it's not going to make me want to fire off a few knuckle children, that's all.

I can agree on that, since both those mags use a lot of airbrushing. Some of that hentai stuff is pretty messed up though.
