Sweet Lullaby

Another song gem: Sweet Lullaby as by Enya and Deep Forest. Even if you know (another version of) this wonderful song, you may not be aware that the melody and vocals are actually a public domain song, song by an African native, recorded decades ago.

    My favorite song by Enya is "Time." It was a top charter here.........I think it peaked at ten or 11 on the 100 list. Quite a haunting melody.

    BTW Sweet Lullaby is a great tune as well. (I bought her CD.) I was quite impressed.

    It's a beautiful song indeed. But I thought this is by Deep Forest. Why does it (also) read "Enya" in there?

    I don't hear Enya's vocals on this track at all. A reason for the confusion could be that the original version of "Sweet lullaby" is misidentified, when played with iTunes or WMP, as Enya's "Orinoco Flow", another track on the same compilation album, Pure Moods.
