Duncan Davidson/ Aperture vs Lightroom
I googled to find pages comparing Adobe Lightroom to Apple Aperture, and I found James Duncan Davidson's blog, which seems very promising for photographers and Mac users.

This Lightroom vs. Aperture dilemma is tricky. Both are obviously very good. But you still have to choose one, and then live with that choice for a long time.
I am leaning towards Aperture. Mainly because I figure its integration with FCP and the rest of the OS X environment might be better. But then, I also use Photoshop a lot ...
Well, Laurie tells me that in certain circumstances, Aperture introduces lines into a picture. And Duncan here talks about some noise artefacts, also in special circumstances.

What have you, Eolake, been able to make of this?
I'll probably get Lightroom.
It's a tough call, but there has been some issues with the quality of Aperture's RAW rendering.
I dunno.
They tell me the RAW conversion issues were addressed already in Aperture 1.1.
There's a quick look at the current version, Aperture 1.5 in Creativepro.com.
I recommend viewing the tutorials at Apple's website. They are quite entertaining.

Aha. I'll keep my eye open for those.
I don't plan to buy either one until around May, so I still have some time to listen to others' experiences before making a decision.
Nearly forgot ... those choosing to go with Lightroom should buy it before April 30th to take advantage of the introductory offer ($199).
