Ariel Atom
The Ariel Atom. Built by a seven-person company in UK.
I can't believe it's a road car.
It costs no more than a family car, and it has the same engine as a Honda Civic, but it accelerates like a high-end sports car! This is due to its only weighing 500 kilos.
See video. Wiki article. And another good video.
Update: there is even an electric version which can also beat a Porche in acceleration! (This is not your dad's electric motor.)
(I'm getting hooked on YouTube, you can find anything there.)

Haha! Great video! Guy's cheeks wobbled like Roger Moore's in Moonraker. :-)
Apparently it takes a motor company with a staff of 7 to do what General Motors is incapable of, i.e. innovate.

Me too. I find that YouTube and other free content publishing websites of its type are downright dangerous.
This week I am installing a stand-up desk in my office to make sure I don't loose focus as easily and end up watching videos for hours on end.
Awesome car, watching the video made me feel and wish I was 16 again.
Yeah! You would think a boutique car such as this would be very expensive. But it's 'only' $35,000.
Speaking of YouTube, one good thing to come from it is that many great video artists are now on the loose.
Hell, in Denmark, you can get only the very smallest cars for under $35k, due to taxes.
A road car? Well, if this is a license plate I see on the hood, it COULD be street-legal.
"Up and atom!" (Radioactive Man)
So, have you ordered yours already, Eolake?
Hey Pascal, have you ever considered becoming a screenwriter?
I've vaguely considered it, but given that I'm about the least sporty person you'll meet, I decided not.
To me, innovation would incorporate a fuel cell/hydrogen driven, intelligent car or plane. I know the disadvantages of these alternative power sources, we all know the disadvantages of the power sources of our present vehicles, vessels and planes, which use our breathable air as a dumping yard.
Tomatoes will get cheaper. They need no longer be grown in glass houses.

I've considered "even worse"!
And I might even do it, too.
I promise, regulars of this blog are sure to hear firsthand if I manage to pull it off. :-)
I consider this blogging thing partly as a training in writing, for perfecting parts of my style. (The other part, of course, is the pleasure of it.)
Hey! That Radioactive Man fella stole my catch-phrase! It's copyrighted, you know...
