... he is right, these parodies are excellent PR for the movie Downfall. I have just decided to get it. I know almost nothing about it, but I have come to like this clip.

Do you think so? I suppose they might induce people to see it but I have a feeling that after all the parodies I wouldn't be able to see it as anything other than comedy - at least this scene anyway.

ReplyDeleteI don't know if this is good PR or not, but this is quickly becoming the best known movie scene of all time.
In Iron Sky, there is a humoristic parody of this scene where the Führer is a beautiful woman.
