Mike, that one I put out of focus deliberately, I had to get very close because it was a wide lens, smallish sensor, and medium aperture. Not sure if I could have gotten it fully sharp. But I kinda like it like this, gives a bit more dimensionality to it.
In that top one, is there a way to have that one branch also in focus? It being out of focus kind of bugs me so I prefer the second one.
ReplyDeletePretty red. I don't know what type of bush that is from; do you? Will be interesting to see it, in the SPRING! Looking forward to that! :-D
ReplyDelete(what camera?)
I actually don't know the species either.

That's OK. If no one let's us know, perhaps the blossoms, in spring, will be able to help identify them. :-)

Goody! Will we be seeing MORE from this camera, soon?? :-)
Coming to think of it, it might be interesting to see side-by-sides of it w/your iPhone. :-) Just a curiosity I'm having. :-)
ReplyDeleteProbably a dogwood.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking this was a repost from a couple of years ago, but seeing the comments I see it's all new.
ReplyDeleteI've used these bushes and trees before. Once with snow on them.
