I can't believe that many porn stars still look like this. For the life of me, I can't see the attraction. I don't think there's an inch of natural skin to be seen.
Below, examples of prawn acting.
(Seems you have to be signed into YouTube to watch it. (But there's no actual prawn in it.))
The very concept of "porn star" is an oxymoron.
ReplyDeleteOnly in America, the land of the lesser comprehension.
Well, that's the used word.
ReplyDelete(Though it may have been selected because using "actor" would be stretching it in most cases.)
There's a scene in Friends where the gang sees a porn tape with Phoebe's twin sister, Ursula, who used Phoebe's name.
But before they saw the tape, one of them says to Gunther in the coffeeshop: "That guy said Phoebe is a porn star!". Gunther said "I don't know about 'star', but she's very good!"
Only in America, the land of the lesser comprehension.
ReplyDeleteEuropeans are far worse, you are a perfect example.
Europeans are far worse
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean? We don't have "porn stars" in Europe. To be called that, you have to work over there in the la-la land.
you are a perfect example.
Thank you.
Try a Google search for "European porn stars." They exist. (You're getting as lazy as Eolake.)
ReplyDeleteyou are a perfect example.
Thank you.
The first few people to have used that lame tactic got away with it. Since then anyone who tries it only succeeds in looking stupid. Well, and maybe they get a little pity.
Did anyone see this vid? It would be nice if women were just appreciated for who they were...so they didn't think that they had to go out and fuck up and pimp their bodies, to get a pay check and...noticed! :-(
ReplyDeleteDid anyone see this vid?
ReplyDeleteI don't watch porn, so I'm not interested in how it's made.
It would be nice if women were just appreciated for who they were...
Who says they aren't? The women themselves don't appreciate who they are. That's why they choose to be mistreated that way. Only a completely lost person would work in the porn business.
Americans don't do so well on general knowledge, but if you asked them about porn, I'm sure they would shine.
ReplyDeleteGosh, ttl, anymore anti-American comments you're holding back on? Tell "us" (I'm not American, BTW) how you *really* feel! ;-)
ReplyDelete--

Who they are (or aren't) is mirrored by the men who have been in their lives and how they have treated them...all the way back to their immediate family.

I was actually going to post this Two Ex Porn Stars Uncover The Truth About Porn,' last night, that I watched, after watching what Eo posted. I am GLAD that there are BRAVE women in this industry who are working to make the world aware of how women are treated.
Obviously mistreatments need to be addressed and to become known. But I think in this as in every big issue, we need to be aware that they are complex issues. Every kind of work has unhappy people in it. And many porn actors are happy and are not mistreated, and are not in porn because of child-abuse or whatever. Many of them just really love sex, and are a bit exhibitionistic and obviously have much less inhibitions than most!
ReplyDeleteAnd many porn actors are happy...
ReplyDeleteActors maybe, but actresses never.
Yes, they do say that, of course. But if you ask them again when they are retired from the business, the story is very different. They tell you they were naïve, taken advantage of, single parents, poor, homeless or junkies who had no choice given the circumstances.
I would be very surprised if you found even one happy porn actress. The fact that the actress smiles is not a reliable gauge of their inner happiness. A better gauge is if they would still do it if they had some other means to earn the same money. There simply aren't any who would.
"Liking sex" has nothing to do with it. Everyone likes sex.
Everyone likes sex.
ReplyDeleteTypical (very stupid) European. Ever heard of the asexual? Eolake has claimed to be one. Some have tried it and hated it, some are indifferent, but at least according to them it's not something they like.
Americans don't do so well on general knowledge, but if you asked them about porn, I'm sure they would shine.
The people who make those love extraordinarily stupid people like you, to whom the thought has never occurred that maybe (gasp) they don't show the ones who answer correctly? Having travelled extensively in Europe I've found they are usually know very little about the world outside of their country or at least of Europe - they might sometimes know a little about some of the countries that border their own, but that's due to the fact that European countries are so tiny.
I hope you're not representative of your country. It might explain why Finland has added virtually nothing to the world's knowledge whereas the United States has vastly increased it.
Haha, I knew the resident insultant here would be infuriated when I linked to that video.
ReplyDeleteIt might explain why Finland has added virtually nothing to the world's knowledge ...
Hey, come on, don't be so condescending. We have for example the Dudesons who have demonstrated what happens when you cover a trampoline with thumb tacks and then jump on it naked. (See here), and other similar experiments.
Know one else can execute these things. So we Finns have to do it—for the benefit of mankind.
A couple Formula One champions if you care about that kind of thing.
ReplyDeleteHere's a suggestion: call them "pr0n performers".
ReplyDeleteBecause, as much as they seldom can be called performant, what they do is perform an act on camera. Do their gig.
(Something most normal people would rather DANCE ;-)
Good word.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I know. "Gig", interpreted as both a performance act and the homonymous dance.
ReplyDeleteI so love good puns.
Latest rumor on Nickelodeon: following the legalizing of gay marriage in several States, Patrick Starfish and Plankton are tying the knot. Spongebob picked their child's name: Prawn Star.
ReplyDeleteMoral leagues are in double uproar.
*More* characters than Bob himself are gay?! An outrage.
ReplyDeleteYears ago on a Macintosh email list, I suggested that black Mac community personality Rodney O'lain and white Mac personality Shawn King should make a podcast together and call it the "Rodney King Show".
One guy on the list gave me a standing ovation (really, he wrote it), the rest stayed in stunned or embarrassed silence.
