Analogies
I find using FaceBook to be like doing homework in a busy subway car.
And Twitter to be like discussing philosophy via post-it notes.
And surfing the web on a phone to be like dancing tango in a straight-jacket.
Thanks. Adam Engst, tech author, made the point in an interview that he just couldn't find his way around facebook, the section naming and navigation is senseless.
I bet Tommy's on there all the time. Reminds me of people who claim never to watch TV. Some people, so desperate to be special, want to think themselves above what's popular (or have others think they are). That kind of thing always depresses me.
