Lovecraftian art by Umbra
My ol' pal Italian artist Umbra has been trying out the iPad app Harmonious, and he made a set of "Lovecraftian monsters" which I just love. Here's a couple.
By golly I think I'll download that to the iPad. I've been trying to find an image of a skelleton sitting up in a coffin holding a martini glass (inside joke). I'm not an artist, by any definition of the word, but I'll give this a try..
And I guess no Undo either. This app really needs development. I hope it gets done. Or at least something similar arises. It's a great idea for making art lines, which I haven't seen elsewhere.
These really are quite adorable.
ReplyDeleteNot bad. They have that "computer" look to them though.

I fine one problem with this app. How do you erase your mistakes? I sent the author(s) an email about some sort of "manual" but so far, no answer. :-(
ReplyDeleteTommy there is no eraser. The only thing you can do is build one with the Simple brush set to the same color as the paper.
