If you’re in the market for a $1 million TV, Harrods has the plasma for you, article.Already have a TV that's the size of — and costs as much as — a beachfront mansion? Harrods' electronics department also sells a $480,000 speaker dock for the iPhone and the iPad that stands 11' tall, and features a built-in ladder that you can use to climb up and connect your device on top.
ROTFL. Good flippin' grief.
Well.... you know, Asian women are pretty small...
Finally a decent size telly.
ReplyDeleteMe, I always thought that when they went beyond 15 inches (TV-C one-five), it was overblown and unnecessary.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Timo! :-D I sat right up close to a movie theater screen, last night, (PACKED!) and was shocked @ how "not too bad" that was, so CLOSE!
ReplyDeleteIf these were cheaper then everyone would want one.
ReplyDeleteEveryone is so disconnected today with facebook, twitter, tumblr, etc. Is it any wonder schools are banning hugging, making best friends, using words like dinosaur because they offend. We live in a society where a little girl can claim offense just to get someone in trouble in school for drawing a picture of "blowing up the school."
With Kindles, Nooks and the like and the iPod I wonder.
I wonder if the people in this society will stop reading books, enjoy nature, spend time by themselves, think independently, or have meaningful conversations. Instead, they will all drive very fast, watch excessive amounts of television on wall-size sets, and listen to the radio on “Seashell Radio” sets attached to their ears.
What next? Perhaps a fire department that burns books we live in a society that already has special-interest groups and other “minorities” objecting to books that offend them. We have people offended by speech, so why not.
I know where to find the renegade intellectuals (book readers, free thinkers) in a small mountainous community. If I go there, I hope to find a free spirited young lady (older too) like Clarisse. Hopefully, we can all view Domai from there.
If you missed it, I am referring to Ray Bradbury's epic novel Fahrenheit 451.
