Alicia Witt

I was just reminded of Alicia Witt, sadly under-used actress. O sigh.
How anybody can dislike redheads is beyond me.

(I wonder about the amount of attention she's getting if and when she's walking 'bout town in a tee like that!)

  1. Oh, man, good for you, Eo. She's something special for sure. And a good actress to boot.

  4. She was brilliant in Dune. 'nuff said.

  5. Dune, isn't that like 25 years old? AW would have been a kid. ... yeah, she was eight. But then Dakota Fanning was brilliant at that age, so maybe I should give Dune another chance.

  6. You could always post a tweet (to a link like Jim Carrey did for Emma stone...even though you have written that you prefer to live like a monk ;-) to the girls you're interested in. :-D

  7. Hah.

I saw the Carrey video yesterday. Very clever. I think only the lip quivers at the end gave it away as not being serious. (Much.)

  8. I don't know why I forgot to watch that vid, before writing you that comment! I was just thinking that it was a good idea...until I watched it, myself! ROFLMAO! He's killing me @ 20 seconds in, already! LOL! LOVE the pee comment, too! HILARIOUS! *So* straight-faced! GREAT!

Perhaps it's a tactic to really get her attention...'cuz he is single, again, ya know! Perhaps it's his way to see if she'd actually go out w/him; see where it goes! He ain't that old and it sure wouldn't be the first "gap" relationship in history! :-)

Silly people who call it "creepy;" he's a COMEDIAN, for frick sake! I followed him, on Twitter, for a couple of days, (while he was still w/Jenny) but...I found him to be too crude and [seemingly] arrogant to have very interesting Tweets. I'd rather follow a dood who has wise things to ponder; his stuff was...not; at least not, then! :-/

  9. I haven't found anybody yet who has anything consistently interesting to say on Twitter.

I think that "creepy" is over-used, or maybe people get creeped out way too easily.

People also judge way too much (me too, but I'm trying to learn). How the heck is it anybody's business if a 25-year-old gets with a 60-year-old? They probably both know what they get into. And if there are problems, it's theirs, not anybody else's.

Perhaps you're not following very interesting/inspiring people? ;-) I have a couple that I really appreciate reading: Rick Warren, author of 'The Purpose Driven Life;' and a dude from one of the bands I really like; he's a total 'Thinker.' :-D

"I think that "creepy" is over-used, or maybe people get creeped out way too easily."

Yes...I think you're right. I don't think peeps have too many reasons to get "creeped out!" :-/

Moi aussi. I think I lost a good friend due to it! :-/

Sadly, I can't agree: I don't think most 20-something year olds would have much in common w/such a gap, nor know what the heck they're doing. Also...sadly, when we turn our heads and pretend "tolerance" or "acceptance" of things like that...and the shit goes wrong (which MOST of the time it probably will 'cuz...let's face it: a 20-year-old really hasn't lived much "life," yet and will prob feel "cramped" in no time!) then we ALL "pay"...especially if children were involved. Yes...it was quite "successful" for Tony Randall BUT...he's, now, left a widower to raise their children and they don't get to be with their Papa. And...how about the MESS w/Anna Nicole Smith and her little girl and the MESS that her husband's passing left behind! Just high profile examples of what it looks like for people who do nutty/selfish things like that. I'm sure it's "fun" and a "novelty"...especially for the dude, at first, but...after awhile, I'm sure it gets [if you'll excuse the intended pun]..."old"...especially when there are more than children to diaper! (ugh!) :-(

And...I don't think it's "judging" as much as it is a genuine "concern" for the people involved...especially the children. That's what history and "the past" is for; we're supposed to LEARN from others and not continue to make the same "mistakes." :-(

ROFLMAO: captcha: rearboa (whatever floats yer boat! :-D

  12. Saw a blurb re: Alec Baldwin having a much younger girlfriend, today, and thought of this conversation. All it makes me think of, when I see these two, is: old men who want to still be the "it" and have to get the "pretty young things" as "arm candy" to do so and...it's just quite...disgusting! (Pacino looks a little dorky w/that headband! lol!) Well...seems that Pacino's was short-lived. Will be interesting to see how long Baldwin lasts!
