Steve Jobs to Take Medical Leave of Absence

Steve Jobs to Take Medical Leave of Absence, TidBITS article.

I've long been wondering how any mortal could keep of with the drive ("Super-drive") and the schedule Jobs has been running. I mean, nobody here is from Krypton. So it's hardly surprising that his body is going into a protest mode sometimes, as seen in the last couple of years. I wish him well.

You call pancreatic cancer and a liver transplant 'going into a protest mode'???

I'm guessing that the guy would give up his entire fortune to have his health again - money means nothing at all when faced with this type of scenario.

Now watch share prices in Apple fall!

  2. They already did, which is silly, but that's people.

I'd call it "severe protest mode" perhaps. Steve is an exceptionally powerful person, so the body has to use exceptionally strong methods to keep him in check! :-)

  3. I don't think Steve's problem is just the heavy schedule as such. Rather I think his pancreas issue is a reaction to anger and directing the life experience in a forceful manner.
