"iMercedes"

We don't have an iPorsche yet, but how about an iMercedes? (Actually called iBusiness.)

  1. After seeing the executive vans and stretches at the London lino show in 2006 and again in Vegas in 2008 I am not surprised at this at all.

Indeed, even from seeing Humphrey Bogart working from his car in Sabrina, this was the logical extension. Much as I like executive vans, especially the ones based on the Mercedes Sprinter (think Dollhouse) I think I'd prefer something like a the S600, or even the VW Phaeton.

  2. Shooot! I was hoping to find a vid that showed the colour-changing lighting system. That would have been worth a ride to have experienced...provided there was decent music included; but...then, it ain't quite a "business" trip, anymore, is it?! lol! (which makes me wonder why something "goofy" like that would be included on a business car, in the first place!)

Quite excessive! It might be "fun" for a couple of nights' road trip where you would want to get some work done, on the way (or browsing the web, of course), but definitely a tad over-the-top.

Might be fun, during the day, for a QUICK "haul" across a LONG, BORING, STRAIGHT stretch of a road trip to see what 200mph feels like! lol! ;-P

Way too "fun" and distracting for..."work," though. :-/

  3. I was just thinking something like that. If you have work to get done, surely you will have your laptop with you, and the files you need in it. This is clearly more for show and for fun than for "business".

  4. I've read a lot about Carisma Auto Design recently. They seem to be the up and coming brand for iMercedes, or as they refer to them, Luxury Mobile Offices.

There pics look impressive. I know I'd be happy working remotely in one of these.
