Ryno Motors one-wheeler (updated)
I wonder how easy it is to learn.
I guess a one-wheeler can't go too fast, or breaking distance would be an issue, it can't stop too suddenly without just flopping over.
It's true, I mean how do you accelerate without hitting the back of your head on the pavement? Or worst yet, braking and pushing your teeth in on the pavement.
My guess is that the machine must first do the reverse of what it wants, to use gravity to hold you in place. I.e make a little step backwards until you're tilted forwards, and then accelerate.
It probably won't replace a good fast motorcycle, and what happens to it if you get off? Other 'bikes' have a kick-stand to prop them up. What does this have? What can you do with it, besides ride around inside an arena for the cameraman taking its pictures? There's no buddy seat, no parcel carrier, and some bastard stole the back wheel....Help!

ReplyDeleteThis is one that I don't need to have.

ReplyDeleteI guess you need to be able to ride a one-wheeled bicycle before trying this...
ReplyDeleteSeems fun !

ReplyDeleteAnna, I don't think that's necessary, because this one has gyro automated computer stabilization, which the one-wheeled bike does not.
