That's a very, um, "interesting" layout. And also very disturbing. Feels ever so slightly messy, too. Yvette should've hired my brother. He designs professional websites, and does a very nice job.
Robb, Consider this as a live field experiment on the effect of hallucinogenic substances. Ain't it fascinating? ;-) Just as fascinating as driving by a gruesome car wreck! Admit it. EVERYBODY can't help but stare.
"explain the ethos to us." What, I thought YOU of all people were very familiar with -and enthusiastic about- sophisticated neo-dadaist deconstructionnism? What's to explain? Yvette is an artist. Her outstanding works leave no-one neutral, and so far she's been the cause of a debate-turned-brawl in EVERY single wedding she's boldly designed. ;-)
Michael, Correction: hers is the PSYCHEDELIC Goth style. Please double-check your cultural references next time, so you don't sound like a dilettante commenting Picasso in fancy exhibition salons. ;-)
FARK!!!!!

ReplyDeleteHoly FARK!!! Panama City sure must have changed a lot since I lived there... ;-)
ReplyDeleteI wonder if she actually gets any positive traffic from that site..
It's a design ethos. You wouldn't understand.
ReplyDeleteIt's an abomination.
ReplyDeleteShe took too much LSD (probably) and needs to put the crayons away.
Absolutely a psycho website.
Well, it certainly fits the Panama City I drove through last spring.
ReplyDeleteI liked it; the overwrought, anti-design chaos works.
waringsh, explain the ethos to us.
ReplyDeleteI think it's a Goth thing... the web design equivalent of eyebrow piercings and black nail polish.
