Leæther Strip - Fit For Flogging

A newish favorite. (I found him in the brief period last year when Pandora actually worked internationally. I want Pandora back.)
Amazingly, he's just one guy, and even Danish, which is not usually so dark and intense.
Typically for such an artist, (Seems he spends long time just just being unreachable),  he insists on spelling the "band name" with the danish letter æ. (In Danish it actually has a distinct inbetween A and E.)

What's wwwrong w/Jango? That's a pretty cool site to listen to music. :-) You can set up your own channels, even.

  2. Jango and the other one, whazface, don't have Pandora's intelligent programming which finds similar music one might like. It's amazingly workable. The first half hours I used it, I found two or three new bands I really like, and that's exceptional at least.

Are you sure about dat, 'cuz Jango plays other stuff that's similar to what you're listening to, right after you've finished listening to your selection. G'head; I dare you to find a song and then see what they play, afterwards.

Yes, I remember you writing about that. Amazing...for you! :-D

  4. OK, Jango works, and seems to have something similar going on. Although I doubt it's based on actual music computer analysing, like Pandora, it's probably manual groupings of artists. Anyway I'll try. (Seems I already have at some point, I had a login.)
(Also, they don't have an iPad/iPhone app, which I wanted.)

Yeah...it's pretty "primitive" but...it can be a nice way to hear an entire song, if you can't find a song that you want to hear, elsewhere...as long as it's been added on their site. Not the greatest but...better than nuttin' YKWIM? :-)

E-mail 'em and tell 'em to "get wit it!" Suggest that they might get left in the dust, if they don't git 'er done, soon! :-D

(seriously, though: I have contacted them in the past and they were pretty quick w/a reply. It would be interesting to see what happens. Hmmm...just thought of another "encourager": suggest that having an app would probably increase their memberships (albeit FREE) and "listenership." :-)

I did that a few days ago with PanelFly, the iPhone comics app. They are now over two months behind in getting an iPad version out, even though they've been promising it *very* loudly on the site since the iPad was announced!
Oddly, he didn't answer that mail, even though we had some nice mail exchanges in the past. I wonder what kind of problems they are having.

    YIKES!

Perhaps the volume of e-mails from pissed off customers?! Probably has nose to the grindstone and can't look up! :-/ But...that is PanelFly; this, of course, is a diff company. :-) It would be interesting to hear what Jango tells you. :-)
