Yeah, this is better. I love Lauren's O Death, I've listened to it like everyday since I first heard it. Lol, and Nataly's band, Pomplamoose does a cover of Gaga's Telephone that punches the original in the face. But my favorite's Julia Nunes. She reminds me of The Beatles in a lot of ways.
To me, the radio and MTV are dead formats. If you want good music, you have to look for it on the internet. It's more of a pain in the ass, but you hear better music that way.
Actually the main singer here is Lauren O'Connell. Nataly Dawn is the girl with short hair doing background vocals.
ReplyDeleteOther brilliant songs from Lauren are "From Chambers, slow", "O Death", "The Same Things (featuring Julia Nunes)" and 1988. Check the lyrics, too.

Thanks Eo, that was moving.
ReplyDeleteIf Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan had a daughter together, that would be Lauren O'Connell. The clearest proof of this is in 1988.
I can't wait for the big music companies to get a hold of her, sex her up, add a beat box to her songs, and completely destroy her talent.
I have a feeling it won't happen.
ReplyDeleteI hope so, Eo. I still have a little glimmer of hope for the World.
