Zivity, Paypal, Patents, and the Decline of DIY Creativity
Zivity, Paypal, Patents, and the Decline of DIY Creativity, article. You probably know that Paypal bans adult sites. Well, it turns out one site is excepted.
yes, researching it I discovered that if an account has been banned, or limited as they call it, you cant use that ip address with them again and also they leave flash cookies and normal cookies as well which need to be removed before you can use any account on that computer again, or even if you havent been banned if you access more then one account from the same computer you are likely to be banned
Im surprised they found me because I only get about 10 people a day to my site, probably it was an offended viewer that told them, but I was breaking their rules so I cant complain
So the article's more or less implying that PayPal aren't banning adult sites due to some misguided Moral Majority outrage, but because the people behind PayPal are using their collective muscle to corner that market by force.
So it's really about a power grab to obtain a foothold in the entertainment sector, with the intention of maybe annexing other more mainstream areas of the electronic entertainment industry once they've annexed the porn industry.
But it seems like the author invented the things Suicide Girls are doing. The SG learned it. And now Zivity stole those ideas, and make it look like they invented them!
I'm just pissed at the paypal favoritism. This effectively stops me from easily selling any physical items with nudity, for example, and for sure cuts me off from most people who don't want to use credit cards.
not only did paypal ban me, they ban any other paypal account that accesses thru my computer

WOW!! That's quite surprising! I wonder how many people realize that this kind of thing can happen to them! Pretty invasive! AMAZING!!
