Tee-shirt short, mine

I'm establishing a shop with my own tee-shirt designs.
It's very much in beta yet, I'm not even sure if ordering works.
(The site, for merchants, is not all that user-friendly, so it's slow work to build it. For example it takes them a week to convert a graphic to the format they need to print in "flex print", the high-quality print I want.)

If you order one, tell me how it goes. If you're not satisfied, I have a full money-back guarantee, including shipping price.

The first design is of course based on my popular Running Man painting. I may make a couple more varieties of it.

  1. Neat idea - lots of luck. I don't wear tee shirts much, so I'll not be ordering. A couple of points, though:

The running man on the tee shirt image looks as if he is wearing leg shackles - did you intend that? They aren't on the original.

Sizing could be a problem - I notice UK sizing is about one size smaller than US/Canadian sizing - so I buy XL in Canada but need XXL in the UK. You might need to include some guidelines for buyers ...

  2. No, didn't intend that. I included some lines from the background, but there were more. It's hard to tell from the tiny graphic how well my design has translated, I'll have to see the tee. (Like I said, lousy user-interface.)

I also wanted to have yellow man on dark shirt, which seemed to be possible (to change the color after the fact), but the site seems so far to only allow the black version I uploaded.

  3. No, didn't intend that.

Not consciously, perhaps, but if you in this moment were to draw a card from Brian Eno's Oblique Stragies deck, it is possible that you might get the card that says:

Honour thy error as a hidden intention.

  4. Well, as Leslie Hall, the Gem Sweater Lady said in an interview with Wired magazine: “Everybody should have a T-shirt to sell”

  5. "Honour thy error as a hidden intention."

*My* error, sure, but not the errors of the printing company! :-)

    (But yeah, I hear ya.)

  6. The other way out of honouring the 'hidden intention' -

'Congratulations! You're the first one to spot my deliberate mistake!' [of course, to see if anyone was paying attention ;-)]

  8. I'm not sure yellow is best colour for your Running man design.

The only design I'd go with yellow is the classic "Don't tread on me".

  9. It's an orangish yellow, the warmest color I know. I think it'll look good on a dark-blue tee.
