New year's snow on grass
I'm quite fond of the last one, with the tree. (Canon 5D2, 70-200mm at the long end.) It's funny because the subject is surrounded by distracting things on all four sides, cars, trees, etc, so you really don't see it until you try with a tele to separate compositions and get into it.
Personally I don't think there's such a thing as an inherently dull subject. Me, I like patterns and textures for instance, and while I could take or leave two of these pictures, I do think the one with the tree is a good one. I could use it in an exhibition without qualms.
You don't get out much do you? ;-)
ReplyDeleteI get out tons. Just today I was down at the convenience store to buy milk.
ReplyDeleteI was just kidding, don't me seriously. I was just referring to taking pictures of snow on grass or was it grass on snow ;-)
ReplyDeleteSeems like kind of a dull subject (to me anyway)
EO, now I understand your comment. It took me a few minutes!!! DUH!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I'm curious what understanding you gained?

ReplyDeleteYou don't see the humor in this? You get out a lot, why you even got out today, to go the convience store!
Sounds like quite an outing ;-)
Sorry, it's just my sick little attempt at humor..
Sure, it was a joke.
ReplyDeleteOnly based on your first response I thought you'd already gotten it.
Well, the main thing is you did. :-)
