The Price of Being Small and Taking Risks

The Price of Being Small and Taking Risks, article.
Touches on some things I've talked about myself, like why the Leica M8 takes pictures of about the quality of an entry level DSLR, but costs eight times as much.

  1. Now you've done it; the Leicaphile mob is assembling their porches and titchforks...twas an interesting post.

  2. I'm not afraid. Leica users all drive Jaguars, and they will break down before they get here. :-)

  3. The second mob is going to be led by that little women, Elizabeth of Windsor, or something, of Germanic and British heritage...you'll get your ass deported.

I didn't think Lord Lucas (Prince of Darkness) worked for Jaguuyaar any more.

    Haha, Eolake!
You have spoken the truth. Jaguars spend most of their life in the shop.

The Leicas still have the best glass on the planet - and the cameras are fantastic. Can't afford an M8 - but loved the other M series machines.

  5. Yeah, if I still shot film, I'd definitely be looking at an M7.
