"Mind Programming" by Eldon Taylor

"Mind Programming" by Eldon Taylor, a video trailer (for a book). About the effects advertising and mass media have on us.
(Amusingly, while I am writing this post, a Madonna song is playing with the words "more! more! more!", which feature importantly in the linked video.)

Update: Angelo points to Taylor on "self actualization".
Seems obvious to me that there's hardly any more important question in life than "what's my life about?". "What's the most important thing?"

I think this is a very important book! Eldon Taylor is the foremost expert on subliminal mind programming.

He's worked in the fields of psychology, counseling, spiritual counseling, and other related fields. He's served as advisor to courts, prison systems, police departments, as well as businesses. He owns a very successful business, progressiveawareness.com, that specializes in mind-programming, subliminal products. He's also written many books, articles, etc.

Eldon has doctorate degrees in psychology, philosophy, and divinity. (He's an ordained minister, though I don't think he's worked at that in years.)

I haven't read "Mind Programming" yet, but I will soon! I have his "Choices and Illusions" and I wouldn't part with it.

Here's a link to the Mind Programming youtube video:

He has many other videos on youtube. An excellent one is the one on self-actualization. I love it, because most people think of actualization as something so esoteric, so hocus-pocus, something that only a Jesus Christ, Buddha, Maharishi, etc., could only achieve, but in only three minutes, Eldon shatters that myth (link below)!

It's Angelo B. again. I noticed the link to Eldon's Amazon book got truncated, so I'm trying to repost it. (But, anyone interested could just as well go to Amazon.com and find it.)

    Okay, here it is again:

Just in case, I'm adding a bit more text here, hoping that'll make the link appear above. ~ A.B.

All right, one more time! (If at first you don't succeed...)

Here's a shortened version of the
    [infamous] Amazon link:

(Again, here's some additional text, to ensure the link is not at the end.)

  4. Hey, Angelo B, this is the World Wide Web, a new invention where you can--get this--create hyperlinks!

    It's easy, you just write:

    anchor text

This way you won't have any problems with truncated "links", like you had above.

For security reasons, I have a policy of never following urls to redirection sites. I was, however, able to find the book by searching for it on Amazon.

The book looks interesting. Thanks for the recommendation.
